Confucius Institute at UAN


Description

IC-UAN was born as a result of two cooperation agreements signed by the Agostinho Neto University with Confucius Institute (Headquarters), Harbin Normal University of China and CITIC CONSTRUCTION of China, on 1 and 4 March 2014 , Respectively.

IC-UAN is an educational institution of Chinese language and culture and aims to promote the teaching of the Chinese language (Mandarin) and the Sino-Angolan cultural exchange in Angola.

IC-UAN Management Structure

Curricular Courses

Chinese Language and Culture

Basic level course duration: 1 academic year (March-December)

Inter-semester break: 1 month (July).

Weekly hours: 6 hours a week from Monday to Thursday, with 2 classes in the morning and in the afternoon.

Hours: 9am to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., respectively.

  • Chinese medicine*

*Programs and schedules to be defined as soon as the conditions of its operation are created.

Extra-curricular activities may be developed wherever possible and as long as they do not jeopardize compulsory school activities.

 

Class organization

Each of the 8 classes will have a maximum of 20 students, including teachers, non-teachers, UAN students and individuals.
