Nov 2010: Inst. Planet Earth (PEI), U. Newcastle (NU), in a meeting of Ministers-Lda;

Feb 2011: The concept of CESESS is presented to UNESCO in Paris;

May 2011: The CESESS project presented to the United Nations Office for Dis Sustainable;

Jul 2011: The CESSAF partnership presented to C.té Cient. Glb of the IEP in London;

Sep 2011: The MOU between UAN and UN is signed in Luanda;

Mar 2012: The CESSAF partner meeting held in Luanda;

Apr 2012: O D.G. UNESCO meets the CESSAF partners in Luanda;

Jun 2012: CESSAF is presented at the Rio + 20 Conference;

Set 2012: Start of training of the UAN Teaching Team in NU (EP-UAN).

Jun-2013: Attachment to MOU 2011 is signed in Newcastle.

Out 2013: The CESSAF Implementation Commission (CI-CESSAF)

Mar 2014: End of training and definitive return to Luanda of EP-UAN

Apr 2014: Beginning of CI-CESESS work.

It approved the resolution of the Senate of August 28, 2012, which approved the creation of the Center of Excellence in Sciences for Sustainability in Africa, designated by CESSAF and its Organic Statute.

Resolution no. 18/12

It approves the creation of the CESNF, and its organic status, for the purpose of homologation by the supervisory body.
